National Ride to Work Day - Wednesday 15 October 2008

Bike commuters all over the country celebrated National Ride to Work Day with community and workplace breakfasts.  36,862 people registered for National Ride to Work Day, with 3,710 workplaces taking part.  Registration are over 20% up on last year.  Over 115 community breakfasts were held all around the country and many more in in workplaces.

Early Bird Registration Prize

Congratulations to the winners of the National Ride to Work Day Early Bird Registration Prize: Tony Revell, Eamonn Fennessy, Kim Morgan and Thao Taylor.  Each winner receives a holiday voucher from Island Cycle Tours in Tasmania valued at $1000, plus a $250 travel voucher to get them to their holiday!

2007 event breaks records - full report now published

It's been dubbed "Australia's biggest ever cycling event", the "largest active transport event" and a "new favourite on the annual workplace calendar."

Warning: riding to work could become a habit!

 Your donations will provide essential funds for Baker IDI's research into diabetes, heart disease and obesity.
