The 2009 Great Vic Bike Ride is Sold Out
Thank you for your interest in joining the 2009 Great Victorian Bike Ride. The ride has been incredibly popular - which is great
for bike riding! While we'd love to take every rider on what will be a fun ride, we're naturally keen to make sure the riders have a wonderful experience. Therefore, the ride is now sold out to all riders.
There are still opportunities to join the 2009 Great Victorian Bike Ride as a full time Volunteer. Volunteering is a rewarding, memorable experience. Join our team of volunteers.
Also, while we don't anticipate many cancellations, any additional spots that may arise will be announced first in our Guess What latest news email. Sign up to Great Vic Guess what and hear about the progress of this year's ride, latest announcements and breaking news about future rides.
Cruise along the Great Ocean Road, winding from Portland to Geelong alongside some of Australia’s most spectacular coastal scenery. It’s a 550km challenge, nine days on the bike with plenty of time for friends and fun in the sun.
Explore the history around Portland, head inland to Macarthur, then pedal straight back to the beach. Tackle the big days – 95kms, 100kms and the famous Lavers Hill – and watch the world fly by, coast on one side, mountains on the other. Cruise through charming seaside towns, Anglesea, Barwon Heads and Ocean Grove on the way to the finish line. Jump for joy in Geelong – you did it!
